I read the
article about Karmic Tattoo in The
Beach Scene! Great job. Espcecially
love the balance you guys do with
your originals and covers. I really
like hearing songs from the past but
your originals are fantastic. My
favorite is "Forever One Day Late".
Caught some of your shows too: think
the bar is called Nautico.
that was great, esp when you,
Elysian Sex Drive and the other
group all played together. Also
there was a benefit at Gemini bar
last month, your band had the most
fans show! So Cool!!! This past time
was yesterday at the Florida Fair.
Didn't even know you were going to
be there but there you were. Great
as always!

What an awesome
website Pamela! I love this and New Tribe's too!
Maybe someday ours will look almost as good. We
now have gigs scheduled every weekend in
October, and 2 in November, on Fridays and
Saturdays! They all are paying, and honestly, I
never expected to put this much time in it so
quickly, so I'm a little paranoid. I just don't
want to get burned out like I did last year.
Some are $250, some are $350. I love the looks
of that until you divide it by 6!!! It's all
good though, and hopefully writing off the music
end of the loft run will offset the expense of
equipment, gas, beer, beer and beer. X( :o

We got the CD
today--IT IS SOOOOO GREAT!!! I was hoping to
call you and surprise you about being in the
area today but plans do change. W eactually were
trying to figure out how to do the Red Cross
clean-up last weekend and manage to drop by for
your CD release--we thought the long Labor Day
weekend would work better... Who knew??
You all are
definitely in our prayers as this gigantic storm
comes across. We will be down there sometime in
the next few weeks--will depend on the weather
:)
Joy and I were
so happy to get the CD today--we put it on right
away--really polished sound, Lisa--ya done
good!! When we get down there, I do want to get
a couple of copies to share with people (No
burning of this CD--I know how expensive it is
to record). I've acutally been "in the studio"
last week recording a Christmas CD with
different groups from our church. I play guitar
on 2 songs and sing in our "Gospel Chicks" group
on another. It was an amazing experience
watching it being engineered--can't wait until
it's all done!!
Again, we will
pray for you and Gail--I hope that the rain
doesn't amount to as much as they are
predicting. Hopefully it will cut across the
state at a higher point. We'll call later to
check in, OK?

the Pier earlier this year. We were there for
several hours -- Lauri and I, the kids and my
parents -- three generations, and everybody
loved it. Every table was occupied, and lots of
people were dancing. You seemed to sense what
kind of music the crowd wanted and provided it
perfectly. Oldies, good dance tunes, folk music.
What struck me, as I told you at the time, was
how such a varied crowd was so thoroughly
entertained. It was an inspired performance (as
always), in one of my favorite settings. Hope
you can play there again. :h |

tho' I haven't had the pleasure to hear Pam
play, I'm sure she also is very talented and can
play well and probably sing like a bird (you
know, sorta like you)......I'm really gonna try

go anywhere, and that's pretty close to home.
You still have
your beautiful 12-string guitar, don't you? I
just love the songs you play and sing...my kinda
gal.....when I taught myself how to play, it was
in the '60s (whoo-a long time ago)....but I
started with folk songs and some oldies....so I
really like the type/style of songs you do -
very relaxing and "laid back"!
Paul and I went
there Sun. evening for a meal and a couple of
drinks - we sat outside so he could smoke...it
was very good! Paul asked about you, and I told
him you don't play usually on Sundays.

anyway....I like your website, and thx for
